Features of the Graduate School for Policy and Planning Sciences
We define "Policy and Planning Sciences" as "a scientific approach to ‘imagining the future’ for our society." We aim to develop engineering professionals who can open up the possibilities of a new age.
Imagine the Future! Our courses emphasize three complementary approaches to turning possibility into reality: financial/natural resource design, spatial/environmental design, organizational/behavioral design.
The Graduate School for Policy and Planning Sciences provides the opportunity to systematically study the knowledge and skills in these three approaches in the Doctoral and Master's Programs in Policy and Planning Sciences. The Master's Program in Service Engineering emphasizes direct application of knowledge and skills to real-world problems in service industries.
