The Kuratani Award
The Kuratani Award is an award that honors students of the College of Policy and Planning Sciences for their achievements.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the College of Policy and Planning Sciences in 2006‚ former Dean Yoshiro Tanikura of the College of Policy and Planning Sciences‚ University of Tsukuba‚ contributed the fund to facilitate the development of the College of Policy and Planning Sciences. The Kuratani Award is provided from this fund to honor students for their achievements.
Students are selected based on their research for graduation theses and other achievements in the College of Policy and Planning Sciences. In 2008, the following three graduates were awarded with the Kuratani Award.

The Kuratani Award is managed by the alumni association "Tsukuba Shako Kai"‚ which is made up of graduates of the College of Policy and Planning Sciences and related graduates, and continues to encourage students for their achievements.
